The Board of Directors of the Kamloops Broncos are ecstatic to announce the signing of Rob Ellis as their new Head Coach.   After an exhaustive process considering applications from across Western Canada, Coach Ellis was the unanimous choice of both the Board and selection committee.

Rob was Head Coach of the Broncos for 3 seasons until health concerns forced him to leave the team. Coach Ellis has contributed greatly to minor, highschool, junior and university programs.  He is a highly sought after clinician and is a Learning Facilitator for the BC Provincial Football Association.  Rob has been instrumental in accrediting Coaches throughout B.C.

His resume includes being a former running backs coach for the UBC Thunderbirds, former Offensive Coordinator of the Abbotsford AirForce and presently is the Offensive Coordinator for Team West of the the All Canada Bowl.

With the recent changes in the executive structure of the Kamloops Broncos, Coach Ellis adds a sense of stabiliity and structure.  His presence assures our fans, supporters and most importantly, our players that we are seriously moving forward with renewed vigor and enthusiasm in putting the best possible product on the field.

Coach Ellis is a Principal in the Salmon Arm School District.  His willingness to commute daily to fulfill Head Coaching duties reflects not only his committment but confirms his belief that the Kamloops Broncos Football Team is a quality organization.

Congratulations Rob Ellis - Head Coach Kamloops Broncos Football!
