Linebacker AJ Blackwell was a late arrival to the Langley Rams this year via the UBC T-Birds and quickly became a vital piece of a Rams defence that got better week by week. His game went to a new level come play-off time and he seemed determined to single handily shut down the VI Raiders in the conference semi-final game.

The Rams defeated the Raiders 37-26 as Blackwell put in one of the very best defensive performances of the season with an eye popping 12 tackles and two batted balls
