The BCFC play-off picture got a whole lot clearer with the results of yesterday’s wins by the Langley Rams and Valley Huskers.

Where we sit prior to this afternoon’s game between the Okanagan Sun and Valley Huskers.

  • Play-off teams have been determined
    • Okanagan Sun, Langley Rams, Valley Huskers, VI Raiders
  • Which teams finish 1st and 2nd to earn the right to host play-off games when the play-offs begin October 20/21 still to be determined depending on final weekend results.
  • A win by the Sun this afternoon would mean the VI Raiders could finish no higher than 3rd as the club would not be able to catch the Sun (3 points back with 1 game to play). The Raiders could still tie the Langley Rams and Valley Huskers in points with a win over the Huskers and Rams loss to Kamloops next weekend but that would result in the 3 teams being tied with 12 points. In that event the Rams would still hold the tiebreaker over both teams based on the BCFC tie breaker formula (first tie breaker being record between tied teams in games against each other. Rams 3-1 vs Raiders and Huskers. The Raiders would be 2-2 and the Huskers 1-3.
