Tyler Going and the Okanagan Sun defence did their part on the weekend despite dropping their home opener, 20-18 to the Langley Rams at the Apple Bowl.

For his part — which included eight solo tackles, two assisted tackles and one batted ball — Going garnered defensive player of the week honours in the B.C. Football Conference, but the linebacker from Okotoks, Alta., would gladly trade that award for a team win
