The Westshore Rebels made it all the way to the BCFC championship game in 2019 on the strength of an 8-2 regular season.

After the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID, from the outside looking in at least, the Rebels were expected to challenge for the 2021 conference title, especially after former Broncos QB Colby Henkel returned from the university ranks to wear Rebels red. 2021 would turn out to be the polar opposite of the previous season as the Rebels finished dead last in the BCFC with a 1-7 record.

2022 saw the island club return to form with a strong recruiting class led by university transfer QB TE Jessie. The Rebels finished 7-3 and made it back to the Cullen Cup. A young Rebels squad has higher expectations for 2023.
