The BCFC POW's presented by the BC Lions

The BCFC Players of the Week, presented by the BC Lions, are here!

On offense, Michael O’Shea of the Okanagan Sun repeats as a POW, this time on offense thanks to his 4 receptions, 94 yards, and 3 TDS in a convincing 62-6 victory over the Westshore Rebels. O'Shea has been a huge part of the Sun offensive attack in 2021 and also proving to be a solid weapon on special teams as well.

Nathan Murray of the Langley Rams picks up defensive POW thanks to a pair of interceptions with 61 combined return yardage. Murray played a big role in the Rams season opening 22-1 victory over the Vancouver Island Raiders. The Raiders dropped their home opener at their new venue at Nanaimo District Secondary School.

And our Special Teams POW, Ethan Homan of the Valley Huskers was a kicking machine racking up 8 punts for 320 yards, 6 KO for 343 yards, 2-2 FG (34, 17), 4-4 PAT. Homan was  a big part of the Huskers getting their first victory of the 2021 season over the Kamloops Broncos, by a score of 35-16 in front of big crowd at Exhibition Stadium.
