BCFC Vaccine Policy

The BCFC has a new Vaccine Policy in place

The British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) Executive and its six member organizations have decided unanimously to implement a vaccine policy that will mirror what the Province of BC has announced for citizens of BC, through the Provincial Health Officer. 

Effective September 15th, all BCFC players, coaches, trainers, support staff and other team personnel that has contact with that group, must have received their first shot of the covid-19 vaccine. By October 27, the same listed persons must have received their second dose.

"We are trying our best to play a 2021 football season this year, and we want to do everything we can to keep our players, coaches and staff as safe as possible" said BCFC President Tyler McLaren. "The Conference has seen what various sports have already implemented in comparable leagues and feel this will give us the best chance to keep all safe and healthy, do right by our communities, and enable us to complete a year for our athletes," McLaren continued.

The BCFC continues its regular season this Saturday, September 11th with a double header in Chilliwack between the Okanagan Sun and the Westshore Rebels, Game time is 2:45PM. This game will be followed by the Valley Huskers battling the Kamloops Broncos at 7PM. Both games will be played at Exhibition stadium.

Finally the Langley Rams are taking on the V.I. Raiders at 5:30PM in Nanaimo on September 11th. The Conference has also announced that all BCFC games will be broadcasted on PPV, as they have been in previous years, and can be found at www.bcfctv.com
