The VI Raiders have good news to announce this week as head coach Doug Hocking has re-signed with the club for the next two seasons.

The long time Raiders assistant just wrapped up his rookie season as head coach and led the club to a 6-3-1 regular season record. The upstart Raiders then went on to one of the best BCFC play-off runs with a pair of road wins on the way to capturing the BCFC championship Cullen Cup title game.

Raiders President Kabel Atwall was more than pleased to have Hocking back in 2018.

"Doug is a passionate coach, he is the heart of the team and our players love him. Hawk's commitment to our club is invaluable."

Hocking on his returning;

"I’m excited about returning for the 2018 season. Without the support of my wife Kristin and my kids Connor and Mackinley this isn’t possible. I want to thank the Raider organization and in particular our GM Glenn Cook for making this such an asset place to coach. Glenn and I share the same vision about the direction of the program and I believe we are on our way to achieving great things here. "
