Week 7 – BCFC Players of the Week
Offense –Running Back, Rhett Williams-VI Raiders
16 carries for 150 yards and 1 TD
If the rest of the BCFC didn’t already know who VI Raiders rookie running back Rhett Williams was, they do now. Williams, who already went into the weekend in 2nd spot in the conference rushing derby with 318 had a huge game in his clubs tight 22-17 loss.
Williams 150 yards was more than double what any other running back has accomplished against a stingy Rebels front 7 this season.
Defense – Defensive Back, Maleek Womack-Westshore Rebels
2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble 1 assisted tackle
In the game between the Rebels and Raiders Saturday it came down to a battle of field position and turn overs. Rebels DB Malaek Wormack delivered in a big way snuffing out Raider drives and handing the ball to his offense to capitalize.
Specifically, his forced fumble led directly to a Rebels touchdown and one of his interceptions occurred on the last play of the game to seal the win.
Special Teams-Returner, Brycen Mayoh, VI Raiders
5 punt returns for 73 yards
5 kick returns for 115 yards
The Raiders Brycen Mayoh leads the BCFC in all-purpose yards and had another solid, if not spectacular game on special teams for the Raiders Saturday night. He consistently put the Raiders offense in enviable field position on punt and kick returns. He chipped in another 103 receiving yards and a touchdown as well.
This is Mayoh’s third player of the week award this season
