BCFC teams in all 6 of our cities include some players from out of the immediate area. Often these players have moved to our province from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

These young men can range in age from 17-22, and often for the rookies, travelling to BC to play football is their first long term “away from home experience”.

Billets are reimbursed for housing a player. Each situation can be different depending on what you prefer in terms of whether you provide meals to your billet or not.

It is a great experience for the player and the host family who welcomes a player for the season which generally runs mid-July through late October. You get to know your junior team “from the inside” which is hard to beat!
