The Langley Rams improved their record to 5-2 with a 32-17 victory over Nanaimo’s VI Raiders on Paul McCallum Night in Langley on Saturday.

Quarterback Tommy Robertson, the New Westminster Hyack Grad who played at the University of Windsor last season, got his first start of the season for the Rams and wasted little time throwing his first ever Junior Football touchdown pass. Robertson opened the game with three consecutive completions, the first a 22 yard dart to Khalik Johnson, then a 12 yard toss to Ryan MacDonald and finally a 28 yard touchdown strike to Seye Akinsanmi that gave the Rams a 7-0 lead before the game was one minute old.
