Chilliwack’s Valley Huskers football team moved to 0-5 at the midpoint of the season after a 47-23 loss to the Westshore Rebels, but again showed their potential for a win or two this year, at least up until the final quarter of Saturday’s game.

The Huskers were the first on the board in the afternoon scorcher at Exhibition Stadium, and then led 14-7 after an Elijah Falconer touchdown with less than two minutes until halftime.
