The Valley Huskers finally found their offence, putting 24 points on the board in a Saturday BC Football Conference game in Nanaimo.
But they lost their defence in a 55-24 loss to the Vancouver Island Raiders.
The winless Huskers (0-3) stunned their hosts, leaping out to a 17-0 lead after one quarter. But the Raiders had the deficit down to 17-10 at the half, and blew Chilliwack’s doors off in the second half, out-scoring the visitors 45-7.
