It’s been a while since a game in Week 3 has drawn so much interest, but then again Saturday’s game is filled with excitement and emotion as the Sun (2-0) host the Westshore Rebels (2-0) in a first place showdown.

The Sun have won 20 straight regular season games and once again have used defence to get out of the gate quickly here in 2016.  In the first two games they have given up just 412 yards of total offence to the opposition, 90 running yards and have allowed 44 points.  This defensive unit has forced six turnovers including three interceptions returned for a touchdown.

This weekend will easily be the defence’s toughest test so far this season.  The Rebels have their swagger back after starting very hot combining for 1,064 yards of total offence and scoring 87 points.  They have been able to have success with a well balanced attack gathering 642 yards on the ground and 484 through the air.
