we’re not chasing records, we’re chasing greatness.

Rebels starting QB Scott Borden threw 10-16 for 343 yards, and Jamel Lyles would carry the ball another 270 yards to add to his last weekend’s total 308 yards as the upstart Rebels put up an amazing 669 yards net offense to hand the Raiders their first loss in twenty five games versus the Westshore team.

On the record and past team history, Lyles was quick to downplay the importance of the win. “This one ( the win ) is very big , especially for those guys from last year and previous years, but we need to act like we’ve done it before ‘cause  we’re not chasing records, we’re chasing greatness. We understand what the records were last year, but we’re chasing a national championship so we’re going to treat this like a regular game, “ Lyles would explain.
