Twenty-five. Twenty-five straight times the Westshore Rebels had to walk off of the field with a loss to their bitter rivals. Twenty-five times the Rebels were reminded who the BCFC Island powerhouse was. For 100 quarters and 1500 grueling minutes of time on the field, the Rebels were simply known as the “little brother” to the Vancouver Island Raiders. On Saturday night, the Rebels decided that enough was enough. After a close first half, the Rebels completely took over all three facets of the game, and dominated the final two quarters to pull away with a 45-22 win.
