If there is a silver lining in Saturday night’s 56-14 Valley Huskers loss to the Okanagan Sun, it is found viewed through a historic lens.
The Chilliwack BCFC team hasn’t scored so many points on the league behemoth since mid-September 2013 at Townsend Park (38-17). They went on to lose 61-0 two weeks later when the two teams met again in Kelowna.
And after a 2015 season that saw Huskers losses of 64-0 and 66-3 to the Sun, the 42-point deficit of last weekend’s season opener final score could be seen as an achievement
